We are excited to announce our first camp for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander teens with a heart condition.
- When: 10 - 12 December 2021
- Where: Sunshine Coast, QLD
- Who: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander teens (aged 13 - 17) with CHD or RHD
- Cost: FREE! (Includes all flights, transport, accommodation, meals and activities)

Note: The camp will be operated under strict COVID safe practices to ensure the safety of all campers and volunteers. In the event of a QLD lockdown at the time of the camp, it will be rescheduled to an alternative date in 2022.
What happens at Teen Camp?
Teen Camp is a weekend filled with fun, adventure and friendship. Activities include art, music, outdoor adventure, water sports and talks from inspiring guest speakers.
Camp provides an opportunity to explore culture, identity and connection, build self-capacity and reiterate the importance of self-care and physical and emotional wellbeing.

Volunteer opportunities
To ensure campers can participate safely and within their health capacity, the camp is staffed by a range of volunteers with specialist skills and experience. This includes cardiologists, Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander health workers, nurses and community leaders.
All costs are covered. This includes flights, transport, accommodation, meals, and activities.
All volunteers are required to have had two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine before November 22 2021 and provide proof of vaccination.
