Connect with peers

Our peer support events, groups and programs offer another layer of support for people with childhood heart disease and their families.

Events

We hold regular state-based meetings and get-togethers for people impacted by CHD. These events offer an opportunity to connect with your peers and share experiences.

HeartKids Peers as Mentors Program

Peer mentors can offer practical assistance, share their own story, be a friendly face, a supportive shoulder and voice on the end of the phone for you.

Online Groups

We have an active and supportive community of thousands of heart parents, families and adults with CHD in the HeartKids Support Group on Facebook.
