We are the voice for all people impacted by CHD, the largest cause of infant death in Australia.
Every child, teenager, and adult in Australia with congenital or childhood acquired heart disease has a fighting chance to live a long, healthy, and fulfilling life.
To make a real and lasting impact for the Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) community.
HeartKids work is outcome-focused and demonstrates real impact for families impacted by congenital or childhood acquired heart disease, and for the community.
Our Approach
HeartKids is the only national not-for-profit organisation that is solely focused on supporting and advocating for all people impacted by childhood onset heart disease, one of the largest causes of infant death in Australia. Our purpose is to help them and their families to lead the most fulfilling life possible and to reach their personal goals.
Our work is community focused as we provide support, information and advocate for them to provide the best possible outcomes.
Our History
HeartKids origins stem from parents getting together to support each other. Over the last 40 years, we have and will continue to evolve.
